Daily 411 Media LLC produces and publishes TheDaily411’s (TD411) daily digital and written multicultural entertainment news and culture stories that are shared with our viewers via www.TheDaily411.com, social channels, and mass media partnerships.

Sisters, Cyan Taylor and Cannon Hunter founded the company in 2013 with the idea to curate entertainment news reflective of the wants and needs of their peers and other millennials of color.

President Cyan Taylor dreamt up the creation, TheDaily411, in her junior year at Syracuse University. There she developed a love for video journalism while working as a producer and anchor for the on-campus television newsroom Citrus TV. Her initial ideas for TheDaily411 included providing an informational entertainment space that was inclusive for multicultural audiences. Her aims have since transformed TheDaily411 into the progressive digital entertainment hub that it has become today. Cyan’s roles as President encompass overseeing contributorship, partnerships and daily in-house content production. She also hosts on-camera “411 Minute” digital videos and co-hosts the weekly series “What’s The 411?”

Vice President Cannon Hunter introduced the idea of incorporating video to TheDaily411’s offering. Her longtime experience in film aided in the creation of in-house video production. Cannon taught herself techniques of video editing when she was just a sophomore in high school. She’d mastered the workings of Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects and DSLR cameras by the time the company was set into motion. Cannon currently films, edits and produces all TD411 short-form and long-form videos. She also co-hosts “What’s The 411?”
