During Sunday night’s 2017 Oscars ceremony, the night went on without a hitch until the very end when presenters Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty announced the incorrect winner for Best Picture.
Yes, you read it right.
Unfortunately, Mr. Beatty was given the wrong envelope and he knew something was wrong, so he handed it to his partner in crime Faye. She read “La La Land,” as the winner for best picture, but that was WRONG!

Luckily, the shows producers came out on stage and revealed that Barry Jenkins film “Moonlight” was the actual winner of the Best Picture award.
After the mix-up went down, the Twitterverse exploded and everyone was freaking out.

All in all, it’s safe to say that both Faye and Warren pulled a Steve Harvey at the Oscars, but this is live television and anything can happen.
