If you haven’t found a good enough reason to attend Coachella 2017, here’s one… How about Kendrick Lamar and the Queen B herself will be headlining.
Yes, Beyoncé and Lamar will perform alongside festival veterans Radiohead, as the three main event artists at California’s most popular weekend.
This will mark Radiohead’s third time headlining the event, following the success of their 2016 LP A Moon Shaped Pool. Meanwhile, Kendrick and Beyoncé will be headlining for the very first time.
In 2010 and 2014, Beyoncé did make surprise appearances, but her fantastic year showcasing Lemonade is what helped land her a spot at the top of the bill. Kendrick also won’t be in unfamiliar ground. He performed a set of his own in 2012 and was Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s surprise guest during the headlining performance. And more recently, in 2016, he crashed Ice Cube’s set.
As usual the festival will take place over a two weekend period, from April 14th -16th and April 21st – 23rd, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The official lineup is expected to be announced at the top of the new year.
In more good news, Beyoncé made her visual for All Night available to all her fans via a Youtube release, this morning. So be sure to check that out below.
